This is simply briliant, a self-powered fan. Invert the cone and one mcould change the fuel type from leaves to rice husks.

I'd wager that if you designed a prototype for backpackers, that you could micro-finance anything you wish. Or for that matter, including a means to let exhaust escape while inside a tent. . .

A wood gas stove almost similar in design can be made for backpacking by fitting a 4" dryer connector (about 6" long, 4" diameter, which would function as a burn chamber) inside a conical 4" to 6" adapter. (about 8 inches long, with 1 1/2 wide cylindrical ends). One would just need to drill some holes. Fins may be attached with rivets to burn chamber. Both the parts are easily available at Lowes, costing about $11, and fit snugly. Aditionally, one may bend the sharp ends for safety, and dry run the stove first to let all the galvanized zinc evaporate as it is toxic.
